The Prime Cuts Restaurant was founded in 2007 by Stephen Dillon longtime chef and restaurateur, and….lover of a great steak and lobster. What better place than Aberdeen, Scotland being the home of Aberdeen Angus beef and North Sea lobster, to open this unique steak and lobster venue. The restaurant is themed as an old fashion New York Steak and Lobster House with a modern and stylish feel.“What’s a great Steak without a great Wine?” Stephen prides himself on working hard to provide a great selection of wines, as well as a range of single malt whisky, keeping in the great local tradition."We pride ourselves in using Scottish local ingredients."  From seasonal neeps and tatties to our sumptuous local cheese board, local Head Chef Jeremy Harris and his team blends Scottish traditional recipes with a modern touch.

At The Prime Cuts, we source the very best local beef that we can find.  Dry aged for 28 days, the prime cuts of local beef are prepared to our specifications, maximizing the flavor and tenderness of our steaks.  

The North Sea: home of arguably the best Lobster in the world...All our lobsters and scallops are locally sourced out of the North Sea and into our restaurant aquarium, awaiting your indulgence. Put this together in a warm, comfortable environment dominated by terracotta, leather and wood, where we endeavor to give you an unpretentious yet well appointed service. Our knowledgeable staff will assist you in choosing wines that will best complement your meal... to give you an unforgettable dining experience. The Prime Cuts Restaurant has been voted first by Noble Drinks, Aberdeen's Sommeliers Association.
