(Pronounced Bru-ik-laddy) Peaty, lingering taste, smooth. Golden colour.

(Pronounced Caol-eela) Not as famous as Laphroaig, Lagavulin or Ardbeg, but well known by the connoisseurs. Peaty and tangy.
 
Lagavulin 16y.o. £6.50
Smoky, peaty, full-bodied, lingering taste. Unmistakable, though it may not be to everyone’s taste. Dark colour. Recommended with water.
 
Port Ellen 1982 £13.50
Not as heavy as some Islay whiskies.
 
Laphroaig 10y.o. £4.75
(Pronounced Lafroig) Smoky, peaty, tangy. Quite unmistakable. Recommended neat or with a little cool water.

Highland Park 12y.o. £4.25
Scotland’s most northerly distillery on Orkney. Smoky, full bodied, aromatic, dry. Reddish colour. Recommended with water.

A little bit peaty than 12y.o., with a hint of vanilla... Nice!
 
Talisker 18y.o. £4.85
Only distillery on the Isle of Skye, dating from 1833.Peaty, full bodied, aromatic. Pale in colour. Recommended with or without water.

Matured in Spanish oak sherry casks. Deep, rich, deliciously smooth and well-rounded flavour with a slight sweetness and touch of sherry and wood.

Matured for a minimum of 18 years in Spanish oak casks, handcrafted and sherry seasoned in Jerez, Spain. Classic Macallan style, wonderfully rich in colour with dried fruits, spice and chocolate orange.

Memorable for its challenging complexity and subtlety. Smooth, dry smokiness finish. A great enigmatic malt.
